Hey OUTM Community! How have you been? I want to hear you so please respond to me in the chat.
Normally on Fridays for the last couple of weeks I have been doing FLASHBACK FRIDAY where I reintroduced one of my old post to some of my new readers.
This morning however, I woke up with the words FREEDOM FRIDAY on my spirit! I said that I was going to make a post, then the day got away from me—but it did not get away from God. He used one of my Queens to say the word as a reminder to get me back on track to post this, so I know someone needs to hear it… so here goes!
Lord, there is so much freedom when we walk with You.
A freedom that doesn’t come from perfect circumstances, but from a perfect Savior. A freedom rooted in the truth that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
Even when we don’t see it.
Even when we don’t feel it.
Even when everything around us seems uncertain,
You remain constant.
You are a wonder-working, masterful God.
You piece everything together so beautifully. You are in the details, the quiet moments, the unseen turns, the very stitches of our lives. Just as Your Word reminds us, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Nothing is wasted. Nothing is overlooked. Every step, every delay, every redirection carries Your divine fingerprint. THANK YOU LORD!!
“Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).
This week came with its share of ebbs and flows. Moments of clarity and moments of confusion. If I’m being honest, there were times I almost got in my own way… and truthfully, I probably did. But even then, Your grace met me. I caught myself, I repented, and I surrendered it back to You. As it is written, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
And what did You do?
Hmmm, You worked it out!
Not just in a way that fixed the situation—but in a way that made me step back, laugh, and say, “Lord, I couldn’t have done it better myself.” Because “Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20)
That is the God we serve!!
So often we walk in fear.
Fear that we can’t handle what’s in front of us.
Fear that we’re not qualified for the position.
Fear of the unknown.
Fear that the vision You’ve given us is too big to accomplish.
But Your Word declares, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Because when we trust You… when we obey Your Word… when we surrender our plans for Yours, you give us something fear can never offer: Freedom.
“Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17) NIV
Freedom to move.
Freedom to grow.
Freedom to trust the process.
Freedom to live boldly, knowing we are fully covered by Your grace.
This Freedom Friday, I’m reminded that it’s not about having it all together, it’s about knowing the One who does.
And in that knowing… there is peace.
In that surrender… there is power.
In that obedience… there is freedom.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You for being the author and finisher of our faith. Thank You for working behind the scenes, even when we don’t recognize it. And thank You for the freedom that comes when we simply let go, and let You lead.
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36).
Walk in it.
Trust in it.
Live in His freedom.
